Operators first.
Higher Agency wasn't started by engineers looking for customers. It was started by operators who got tired of waiting for someone to build the right tools, and then realized nobody was coming.
The background
Mike Spadier, Founder
Twenty-five years running sales and marketing teams. Built and sold a marketing agency. Fractional CMO for a nationally distributed craft spirits brand. Founded and ran his own ecommerce business. Along the way, used, and fought with, every category of business software that exists: CRMs, ad platforms, analytics suites, project management tools, email systems.
That's the unfair advantage. When you've personally lived the problem a tool is supposed to solve, you don't need a requirements document. You already know what to build.
The team
Behind the builds is a team of experienced operators: people who have run marketing departments, founded and sold companies, and carried sales numbers of their own. Nobody here learned business from a client brief. That's the filter: you don't work on Higher Agency systems unless you've run the kind of business they're built for.
Why we can do this now
For twenty of those twenty-five years, having ideas for better software was a hobby, because acting on them cost six figures and a development team. AI development tools ended that. We were early to them, we use them every day, and we've built our whole company around one fact: the people who understand the business should be the ones shaping the software.
We build with AI. We ship to engineering standards. And we keep our leverage pointed at one thing: making your business run the way you always wished it would.
